The Master in Economics (MEI) is a one-year graduate program designed to provide the analytical and quantitative skills that are needed for a successful career as a professional economist in business or government. The program is also designed to provide intensive training to students who want to pursue a PhD in Economics, Econometrics or Finance in a leading research university.

The program, entirely in English, is structured in three terms: Fall (September-January), Spring (February-June) and Summer (July-September). Financial support, available in the form of waiver or refund of the tuition fees, is awarded on competitive basis.

MEI has an excellent track-record in placing students in both academic and non-academic institutions. In the last three years, about 60% of our students have been successfully enrolled in Ph.D. Programs in top U.S. and European Universities, while 40% have found jobs in non-academic institutions in Italy or abroad.

The current director of MEI is Professor Franco Peracchi.
