The course will deal with key management issues which corporations face. After an introduction to the fundamentals of strategy analysis, the focus will be on specific business and corporate strategies that firms implement in different industry contexts. Each section will include business cases of international/European companies. The five principal topics covered are: the fundamentals of strategy analysis, business strategies in different industries, vertical integration strategies, global strategies, and diversification.
