To facilitate the stay in Italy, Italian language courses are held for foreign students attending the Master of Science Programmes. The courses, preceded by a test to evaluate the student's level of Italian, are divided into four levels of language proficiency: beginners, elementary, intermediate and upper-intermediate. The teaching periods generally starts in October for the basic course and in the second half of September for the elementary, intermediate and upper-intermediate courses.
