Globalisation of the productive and financial system has become a structural feature of the world economy that resists the protectionist winds pushed by the recession. International economic relationships are experiencing the effects of drastic changes driven by inventions in ICT and so are the strategies and actual behavior of operators. This is a new reality to which the recent creation of the European Economic and Monetary Union and its process of enlargement have contributed, but also to which it must rapidly adapt by constantly changing its perimeter of action.
