The second Edition of the Research Competition 2008 has introduced new issues and a different selection of participants’ criteria. That’s why we try to challenge themes and topics belonging to the knowledge and higher education curricula rather than having a generic gathering of young students.
In fact we are dealing with problems and perspectives of vital importance for the next generation leadership and role in the world society. We are aware that history is moving on quickly but is also leaving great, crucial problems unresolved. The risk of them is under evaluated to the ones thinking only in the short term but quite clear to the long lasting analysis. How to govern the complexity of the future: this is one of the main aims of our YICGG 2008 Research Competition.
