Curriculum Vitae
After graduating in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 1987, he moved on to work on optimization and simulation models for management. At present he is full professor at the faculty of Engineering Management of Politecnico di Torino, where he teaches Distribution Logistics and Financial Markets and Instruments. He is also teaching Quantitative and Numerical Methods courses at the Master’s level at the faculty of Economics of the University of Turin (Master in Finance) and the Turin campus of ESCP-EAP (Master in Management and Master in European Business). He has been involved in Ph.D. programs in Economics, Business Management, and Electronics and Telecommunications, both at the University of Turin and at Politecnico. He is an active researcher in mathematical modeling for business decisions, as documented by his papers on scientific journals. He is also author/editor of eight books, among which we mention the much appreciated second edition of Numerical Methods in Finance and Economics: a MATLAB-Based Introduction, published by Wiley New York.
